My fees for Cook County Chapter 7 cases start at $669.00 (this does not include court costs of $306.00 or credit counseling fees). The last thing you need at this time is to pay thousands of dollars in attorney fees to file your bankruptcy. If you had that money, you could pay your bills!

If you qualify for the $669.00 fee for Chapter 7, the total attorney fees and court costs that you would pay (not including credit counseling) are:

            $ 640.00 attorney fees (Cook County cases)

            $ 306.00 court costs

$ 975.00 total fees and court costs for attorney representation of your Cook County Chapter 7 case from filing, through the date of discharge (not including credit counseling).

Fees for most non Cook County cases are $1204.00 plus court costs of $306.00 making fees and court costs for non Cook County cases $1,510.00 plus credit counseling fees. Other restrictions may apply affecting fees. Court costs are set by statute and are subject to change. Credit counseling fees vary. Typical credit counseling fees are $30.00 for pre-filing certificate and $25.00 for pre-discharge certificate.

Of course I will need to review your circumstances to determine whether you qualify for my low attorney fees, but virtually every Cook County case I take should fall within the fee parameters described above.
